I am a versatile photographer based in Santa Monica, California, who creates honest, relatable images of experiences, and the exploration of spaces. I’m fortunate to live in a place where mountains, beaches, deserts, and cities are accessible year-round; but my love of road trips has taken me to nearly every state. 

In my work, I aim to capture the essence of the human experience – whether it's the exhilaration of plunging into an alpine lake surrounded by snow, scenes of the technology and industry providing us with comfort and convenience, or the impact of humans and industry on the natural world.

The resulting photographs are visual stories that I hope inspire people to get outside to have their own experiences; strengthening their physical and emotional connection to the planet and growing their desire to protect and steward our wild spaces.

I am skilled at combining natural and artificial light sources to produce high-impact photographs, working in remote locations and unusual settings, and the problem solving those situations demand. If I had to pick three words that best describe myself, they would be adventurous, curious, and pragmatic – the essential combination of creativity and reliability.
